Data Protection Forum - December 2025 all member meeting

The Forum will be focusing on the topic of citizen (Data Subject) rights, how these should be enforced & who should be held accountable when Data Controllers fail to deliver on their GDPR obligations.

Obviously we will cover at a high level the ‘rights’ (direct & in-direct) afforded to individuals through the UK GDPR, but then consider which organisations may help Data Subjects enforce their rights – in particular where the individual may not have ‘agency’ to challenge Data Controllers themselves.
